Breakthrough Sessions

Well, summers just about over. Some kids are already back at school. Others are enjoying their last few weeks off in the sun.

Ok, so now heres the truth! Us parents need a vacation now! With all the trips, vacations, play dates, and not to mention the infamous summer stomach which has kids eating non stop as opposed to the school stomachs where kids only eat breakfast, dinner and some snacks at home. Our refrigerators and cabinets are bare! And our patience is, well.....

We as parents, as much as we wish for breaks from our children after summer break, we just simply accept them going back to school as such. But it is very important that we take some time to ourselves, just like any other important calendar event where stress is inevitable, so is back to school. Wondering about our children adapting to their new class or school. Hoping they meet new friends that are just as great as they are, that they are prepared. Also praying that the teacher is the best influence for your child. So as you can see the stress is non stop as a parent.

Take some time for yourself. Practice meditation, take in a movie by yourself if you can. Read or listen to a good book, go get a spa treatment. Anything that  can help you ease your stress, go do it! The worst thing you can offer your child is a stressed or depressed parent. So get your mind right so we can get involved in our childrens success at school. Have a great school year! 2018-2019!
