Pink Conversations

Welcome to Pink Conversations! Where grown women talk! Ok ladies now lets get information!
There is an old cliche that women can't work together. You look on social media you see women fighting, and young ladies are being brought up in these environments and we celebrate it as a right of Passage. Then you look at the entertainment business and there is conflict and competition all over it! It always seems to be limited space and we always have to claw our way to the top.  As if there's no room for all of us to thrive.  Honestly do you really think that's the case?
For many women, building a Sisterhood is a way to combat those stereotypes.  Women all over the globe are joining forces hand by hand to build a bridge for all of us to be able to cross. Sisterhood is important why? Because in order for us to get anywhere it takes more than just one of us to make the difference. Civil rights weren't won just with one person fighting for the cause. They built a community and a national community in order to move and make change.  Same goes for women's rights and the LGBT community it only took one to recognize the dilemma and built a community of others who supported the change and together they made it happen.
Support comes in many different forms.  A lot of times we associate support as financial or supporting a business. There are other ways to show support. The most basic show of support is listening. We all go through things we all have bad days, it's expected of us to just keep up and keep going. You'll get over it they say you're a strong woman but even the strongest of us need support as well. We have days that are hard for us days that make us feel like we had a fight with the world!  wouldn't it be great if you could vent without any invalidation of your feelings? We have been strong for so long! when you have that much built up and you keep it in eventually you will explode and have a mental breakdown, then thats when you become that stereotypical woman right?
I can't express to you how important it is to treat each other how you say you treat people. If you love your sisters show them,  be there, support them, give them what they need to keep a clear and level head listen to them, show up when they need you, help them out do favors for each other the list goes on! Sisterhood is so much more than just being able to work with each other it's showing that we care about one another. I am My Sister's Keeper.
